Simon Bolivar, liberator of Latin America
Mythical figure of Latin America, man acquired to liberal ideas in vogue in the nineteenth century, Simon Bolivar is the liberator of much of the South American continent from the Spanish yoke, which has earned him the nickname of "El Libertador ”. By the military exploits he accomplished in the face of the Spanish armies and the important political functions he held in several South American countries, he left an indelible mark on this continent, to such an extent that he has acquired the status of a myth.
